BRUCE'S
FINGERS shipping options
shipping choices
When you reach the shopping cart checkout, a
shipping charge based on what you've ordered will be automatically
calculated. Unfortunately the PayPal Express shopping cart software
we use is relatively unsophisticated, and does not differentiate
between customers based on geographic location; nor does it take the
weight of individual items into account when assessing shipping
charges*. As a result, your package will be shipped to you by the
quickest available method covered by the shipping charge paid.
However, if a priority, air mail or registered
/ secure delivery is essential, e-mail
us with the details, and we can upgrade your level of service if
necessary; there may be a surcharge to pay, but we'll e-mail you back
with the appropriate information to help you decide. Similarly, if
you have any other shipping queries, please get in touch.
*So why do we use this cart? Because it allows us to have a very large number of different items for sale on the website, whilst nevertheless being free to operate. Most shopping carts charge progressively higher fees the more items in your catalogue, and this economic model is not appropriate for us. But if anyone knows of a better option, please do let us know.
occasional delays
Most BF orders will be sent by return of post
(apart from out-of-stock items), but on some occasions they may take
2 or 3 weeks to appear. I'm afraid BF is actually a one-man
operation, and whilst sometimes I do have help, most of the time I
don't. So if I'm away touring, or am busy with gigs or writing, it
might take a bit longer before I can get the time to make up your
package. But I'm rarely away for more than 2 weeks at a time, so a
21-day limit should be safe. Sometimes even orders with air mail
priority might be delayed, although they'll always be quicker than
standard delivery orders placed at the same time. I'm very sorry
about this uncertainty, but I hope knowing that you're dealing
directly with those of us actually working at the coal face of modern
music will make you tolerant of any exceptional delays if they do
occur. After all, what better way of supporting this kind of music-making?
Thanks.
